Gina Caputo, E-RYT 500

Gina is the Yogini On The Loose, a yoga teacher known for her down-to-earth vibe, elbow-grease wisdom and exuberant teaching style. She came to the mat from the office chair so has a keen ability to really speak to the modern-day householder yogi. She is driven by the recognition that embodied self-exploration is a powerful method of conscious evolution and in discovering one’s true potential.

In 2012 she moved to Boulder, Colorado after 10 years of studio ownership beginning with 2 years in Venice, California (Sacred Movement Center For Healing & Yoga – now Exhale Spa) and 8 years in Kansas City, Missouri (Kansas Siddhi Yoga Studios). Over the course of that journey, she developed both a 200 and a 500 hour Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School Teacher Training Program and has graduated several classes of exceptional teachers.

She continues to teach public classes and Teacher Trainings around the world. Her driving inspiration is to help yoga teachers find their voice and to raise the bar in teaching yoga worldwide to expand peoples’ opinions of what yoga is and what it can do. Her passion and current studies are in somatic therapeutics which she thinks is the pathway to impactful, holistic, personal transformation.

Gina grew up as a master fort-builder in Northern California, went to Catholic school, kayaked and played badminton in Spain as a teenager and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of California at San Diego where she lived for almost 10 years.
