Course Description

Let’s face it, there are two main pain points for yoga teachers:

1. Not getting on the yoga mat enough to practice the very art form you’re teaching!

2. Struggling to make ends meet and making a living you deserve

And it makes sense. As a yoga teacher you are busy offering classes, marketing yourself, managing a home or family, and attempting to navigate the demands of social media platforms.

As your practice gets put on the back burner, so does the time to study or prepare for your classes, resulting in the all-too-familiar “yoga teacher burnout”.

It’s possible to make a substantial living as a yoga teacher, but you need to know how to work smarter rather than scrambling and running all over town. Your parking bill should not cost more than what you’re making for a class!

For these reasons, Amy Ippoliti created the “live” version of her popular book, The Art and Business of Teaching Yoga, in the form of an advanced teacher training that pairs daily 3-hour yoga practices in the morning with afternoon sessions that tackle these issues head on.

90 Monkey’s Advanced Teacher Training module, The Art and Business of Teaching Yoga will give you space and time to be a student again plus the self-reflection and visionary goal setting that will propel you forward in the upcoming year and beyond!

You will regenerate, be re-inspired, and rekindle your love of yoga.

Remember. You deserve to flourish. And your student’s are counting on it!

IN THIS INFORMATIVE 500-HOUR LEVEL MODULE, YOU WILL:

  • Get on the mat for daily luxurious group practices pranayama, meditation, exploring philosophy and alignment
  • Learn to generate additional income streams that will help you increase your income through our time tested methods
  • Get more clear about your identity and brand
  • Explore a healthy relationship with social media that works to enhance your business
  • Review the business acumen needed to develop a manageable career as a full or part-time yoga teacher
  • Discover how to work smarter and not harder
  • Gap analysis to shine light on your strengths & opportunities as a yoga teacher
  • And much, much more!

BONUS!  We are pleased to have 90 Monkeys 500-Hour Teacher and local Seattle yoga professional, Kenny Landis, as part of the supporting faculty for this intensive!

Praise for this module:

“EVERYTHING has happened! I became a full time teacher, with 12 public classes and 2-6 privates per week. I am co-leading my first teacher training this fall. The Art and Business of Teaching Yoga Module, wow! It gave me the confidence, the clarity and the support I needed to more forward. I am so grateful.”

“I sold out both of the retreats I scheduled this year! And most exciting for me – I’ve taught my Teacher Training programs in 3 different studios – including one out of state – and have two more on my calendar this year so far! The Art and Business of Teaching Yoga Module was invaluable and inspiring to me!

“I walk into the room confident and excited. I value myself as a teacher and a student. I’ve explored more possibilities in how to spread my stuff and I’m so grateful for everything you gave me through this training! THANK YOU!!’

Teaching Faculty

FACULTY
Amy Ippoliti, a gifted teacher’s teacher, has been leading yoga teacher trainings since 1999. Her students have gone on to become leaders, authors, conference presenters, and teacher trainers in the yoga world –  both in the United States and all over the globe! She is revered for her innovative methods that bridge the gap between ancient yoga wisdom and modern-day life, helping yoga students “turn up their own volume.”

After years of feeling powerless to help her teacher training graduates actually survive as yoga teachers, she started studying business, marketing, finances and technology. In 2010, when she felt confident enough to share what she had learned, she created “90 Minutes to Change the World”. This professional development program inspired her and Taro Smith to found 90 Monkeys.

SUPPORTING FACULTY
Kenny’s journey into yoga has been a series of happen chances starting from his first yoga class in a group fitness class at his gym years ago.  His journey has always paralleled between his success in the traditional corporate environment with his passion for the study of yoga and the interplay they have in our modern culture of the “more is more” mentality.  Throughout his time as both a student and teacher of yoga, Kenny has had the great opportunity to study with many of yoga’s contemporary wisdom keepers and yoga luminaries.

Kenny, a longtime student of Amy Ippoliti & 90 Monkeys, officially joined the 90 Monkeys team in 2016 as the Director of Logistics & Communication bringing his business acumen and experience in training & development to support the expansion of programs.  In his time with 90 Monkeys, Kenny has helped to develop the On the Road ProgramTeacher Mentorship Program, Expanded 200-hour Teacher Training format, Module Development for the 500-hour Teacher Training Program, and supported Amy around the globe as support faculty for trainings & workshops.
